Developing on the idea of reflections further a good art piece to summarise the reflection concept is the Cloud Gate(the bean) by Anish Kapoor. This sculpture is made out of 168 sheets of stainless steel, 10 x 20 x 13m and weighs 110 short tons. The sculpture was inspired by liquid mercury to reflect the Chicago skyline but its elliptical shape distorts and twists the reflected image and acts as a fun house mirror as people walk around it. Critical reviews call the structure as a passage between realms. The name Cloud Gate refers to it acting as a type of gate to bridge the space between the sky and the viewer because of most of the reflection from the sculpture is the sky.
